"Weekend is my favorite days. Yah iyalah, siapa juga yang ga suka libur akhir pekan?! Hanya orang-orang aneh yang gila kerja, yang akan mengutuknya. Apa yang biasa saya lakukan di akhir pekan? Dulu, sewaktu saya di Jakarta, atau bahkan di China, saya akan pergi berkeliling kota, mencari-cari mall atau tempat-tempat baru yang menarik. Berakhir dengan mencari tempat makan/ kafe/ restaurant/ warung yang menjual makanan. Belakangan ini, hobi saya bertambah, mencari tempat makan sekaligus tempat minum-minum yang enak. Nope, bukan beer, bukan pub atau bar yang menjual minuman beralkohol. Saya mencari tempat minum kopi enak.  Di China saya tidak mungkin mencari-cari kopi, hanya beberapa kafe (bisa dihitung dengan jari tangan) yang menyediakan kopi, yang bukan kopi instant. Makanya begitu saya kembali ke tanah air, kalaplah saya. Ke sana, ke mari mencari-cari kedai kopi :)" Please, don't mind the interruption above ;)  Yesterday's lunch: Char Kwee Tiao with Kopi

Today's lunch at Black Canyon Coffee, Mall Ratu Indah, Makassar. I had Pad Thai and a cup of cappuccino (Actually two, I was having another shot of espresso, just because the barista here was so nice. He made a nice latte art based on my profile face appearance, surrounded by couple of flowers :p ). 

Today's lunch (11/03/2012), mushroom cheese egg crepe (磨菇起士蛋餅) at Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks. 

8/12/2011 The first day I arrived in Makassar City, the Land of Heavenly Kings. After I submitted all the paper works to the university, I took a chance to walk around the city (of course by car, if by foot it will be one week at least :p ). This is a picture of Akkarena Beach, one of the famous recreational places in Makassar.
